The 2010 Gainesville Gaviatas Synchronized Swimming Team
Gaviatas Finalists at 2010 Age Group Nationals
The 13-15 Team Qualified two routines into the finals at Age Group Nationals in Tonawanda, NY.
The 13-15 Team of Emel B, Ashley B, Carlie C, Grace D, Eliza L, Catherine M, Caroline P, and Sabrina V placed 10th out of 39 Teams.
The 13-15 Trio of Emel B, Caroline P and Sabrina V placed 10th out of 42 trios.
Congratulations to both of these routines!
In addition, 13-15 soloist Grace D placed 18th out of 43 swimmers at Nationals. The Duet of Grace D and Catherine M placed 21st at Nationals out of 44.
The Gainesville Gaviatas qualified six routines to compete at eSynchro Age Group Nationals in Tonawanda, NY. Competition began for our 11-12 team on Saturday, June 26th. Our 11-12 four person team of Sophia E, Annie D, Samantha A, and Kenna P. placed 27th out of 37 and our 11-12 trio (Sophia E, Annie D, and Samantha A) placed 20th out of 40 trios.
The Gaviatas are very proud of all our Nationals swimmers! Congratulations!
Fall Synchronized Swimming Lessons
The Gainesville Gaviatas will be offering beginning synchronized swimming lessons again this fall. This 7-week session is designed to teach children ages 7--12 the fundamentals of synchronized swimming while having fun. Synchro incorporates the elegance of ballet, the strength and flexibility of a gymnast, and the stamina of a speed swimmer all to sounds of music above and below the water.
Saturdays 10:00am-11:00am
